Dr. Subkoviak is a past Advisory Editor of the Journal of Educational Measurement and an Associate Dean in the School of Education. Research Interests

The bulk of my research has been in the area of educational measurement, involving such issues as reliability, item analysis, and passing scores. Another area of interest has been the identification of test items that function differentially across diverse groups. More recently I've been involved in the development of an instrument for measuring interpersonal forgiveness, the study of item parameter drift, and the validation of methods for setting cutoff scores on high stakes tests.
