
Ed Psych PhD student Lexie Barber has been named a recipient of the Society for the Study of School Psychology’s (SSSP) Fall 2021 Dissertation Grant Award for her dissertation titled, “Using community collaboration to evaluate the cultural relevance of the Resilience Education Program.”
Lexie is a fourth year doctoral student in the School Psychology area and will be completing her research this spring. Lexie’s project examines the efficacy, feasibility, and social validity of a Tier 2 intervention for children with internalizing behaviors, specifically evaluating its cultural relevance for Black youth.
